Heard the last 30 seconds. I don't know if it was music or noise? Whatever it was, it was loud.

No "Filipino Box Springs Hog"? That's one of Tom's more sentimental works from early in his career.

If I read the article correctly, it sounds like all long wave on Iceland will be gone shortly (sentence in story is written confusingly.).

If you lived on top of a volcano in the middle of the North Atlantic, with elf and troll crossings on the highways, you'd be confused too.

Sounds like a very weak music beat and some peskies.
0139: Peskies seems gone with some EDM. Signal is stronger now.
0156: Signal went from being unintelligible to readable. Signal is AM and Captain Morgan Shortwave ID.

Just like Pigmeat said.

0218: Off for good I believe.

At first I thought it was Partial India Radio moving up, the carrier looked the same on the waterfall. But the fat AM sound gave it away as something else. Captain Morgan's transmitter has very distinctive sound.

Partial India Radio used to be transmitted via an amped up boat anchor that made Sanjay and Harold sound like Shiva and Brahma echoing off Mount Meru? I was a bit disappointed those scamps didn't have that big sound last night, by Vishnu.

Sounds like popular music from the 30's. If it wasn't for all the static this would be an easy catch. The signal is starting to pick up.

82
Captain Morgan ID.

83
Sounds like Van Morrison, but the signal has taken a nosedive.

84
Try a plate modulated AM signal. Fine Young Cannibals?

85
Ah, Sanjay is back! I wonder who the guy's with the American accents are? Dr. Zaius? I know that damned dirty ape! Harold, Sanjay, watch him!

86
Or perhaps a not so mellow mellotron.

That hovel doesn't look very penguin proof.

The Pixies when Kim Deal was at her cutest. No wonder Courtney Love was so jealous when Kurt and Nirvana opened with for Deal twins band The Breeders on Nirvana's first tour? She knew she looked like something the dog threw up compared to those two identical beauties.

"Cisco Kid" was a War only recording from the album, "The World Is A Ghetto". Burdon did two album's with them and bailed. "Spill The Wine" was the big hit Burdon had with them. "Cisco Kid", got a lot of airplay in the spring and summer of I think,1973?

Cisco and Pancho had some adventures. Pancho could wield a mean bullwhip when he had to. "The Cisco Kid" was the only Mexican oriented, "Horse Opera", on the air in the 50's and 60's, unless you counted "Zorro", which was set in old Los Angeles, a sword only, no six gun show. "Zorro" was a pretty dull show, and he was kind of a sissy.

My wife has a stuffed version of the actual ALF, he of the Planet Melmac who devoured cats, not some bug-eyed stick critter.
