is this a licensed SWBC station or a pirate ?
im curious, because that used to be my operating frequency as a USA pirate in past.

Had to open the filter up or else the signal was distorted.
thank you for indicating that.
modulation was way too high and was starting to cross over to DSB, it now lowered to threshold.

a bit late to the broadcast but now listening and enjoying the tunes, thanks WREC !

apparently a large solar flare is trashing the lower/mid parts of the bands.
surprised im being heard at all, especially at a mere 50 watts.
id be surprised if anyone can receive anything today.

2004  S9 +10
thank you for the report even though i monitored myself on an online SDR, that was a 3 minute test at 2003 to 2006 at 1KW from the usual 50W.
finally calibrated the amp for 6100Khz from 5010Khz, perhaps i will settle at 6100Khz, we shall see though i got suspicions 6100Khz likely wont be a good place for nighttime weekend broadcasts.
the amp is a Henry 3K-A modified for improved ventilation.

General Radio Discussion / Re: Digital pirate tv transmitter

yes but the distance wont be anything like analog.
many moons ago, i built an analog audio/video transmitter for channel 3 (unused at the time) using an extensively modified and tuned "3/4 modulator" from a VCR, two home made low-pass filters, two home made amplifiers and two home made vertical 1/4 wave antennas, each one for video and audio.
only operating at 1 watt for both video and audio, the distance was about 1000 feet on a portable TV but im sure the homes with roof antennas pointing in my direction (towards the TV stations) received the signal from much further away.
this was before cable tv was fully established around town when people were still using horizontal directional VHF antennas on their roofs.
can you imagine me walking down my street with a tiny portable B/W TV testing the signal distance ? - the neighbors thought i was very strange as i once observed a neighbor talking about how strange i was over their 46Mhz cordless phone :D

my preference is FF 64 bit with "ABP", "NoScript", "Native HLS Playback", "User-Agent Switcher" & "Video DownloadHelper" with a custom LAN BIND DNS server (http://pgl.yoyo.org/as/serverlist.php?hostformat=bindconfig) configured to redirect known advertisement/bad domains to a custom LAN hosted web page.

do you think it will burn up in the atmosphere before it hits the ground ?

thanks for that very detailed report and analysis providing much insight, it is much appreciated, great work !

Yep, classic.
"Split" is another one i really like, James McAvoy plays the parts so damn well its believable, what an awesome actor.

Lots of tunes I would play too and the SSTV, just too funny. 8)
from one op to another, i am looking forward to hearing your broadcasts.
i would also like to thank Radio Stasi for providing the content which was relayed today, thanks !
i will replay the show a second time, sometime during this week after dusk.
and a thank you to everyone who listened today - its not easy to DJ and do my job at the same time, it is challenging but it is fun :)

sorry bro but i have no idea what you are talking about and why.
i hope i did not doing anything that offended you, that is never my intention for anyone and i apologize if i did without knowing it.
the hobby of broadcasting is just for fun, enjoyment and entertainment, thats the way it oughta be.

S7 with fades on a NY SDR - 3Khz audio
presumed CNR (recognize the DJ style)
0011z - interesting electronic song, reminds me of "The Matrix"
lots of nice low end frequencies down to 60Hz
0019z - synth voice "goodbye to the relay station seven three radio" - then silence - not sure if i heard that correctly though

S3-5 with fades - hearing bluegrass type of music on a NY SDR
