Pigmeat: The Sonics' were still pretty amazing 50 years later on KEXP
BTW, someone played Eduard Khil's Trololo song a few minutes before. Audio sounded like that of WANK, so maybe that was a brief warm up

Weak with music, synch detector had problems locking. Went outside to check that the horizontal loop was OK after a day of wind & falling limbs. The antenna's OK, but the station was gone

BTW, the Chris Smolinski interview show should be on tonight at 0400 on 5130 kHz.
Some people also asked if I could pull enough from the original interview to make another show. That one's in the process right now. It won't go on WBCQ unless I run out of time to do a show some month & use it as a back up. Otherwise, I think that one might wind up on other frequencies.
I've about assembled enough shows, I think, to set up a YouTube account (I wanted to have enough material set up that someone could listen to a show . . . & if he or she liked it, listen to another one), but now I have to get around to doing it
