Tuned in at 0220 UTC to "Hysteria"-Def Leppard. Fair signal here with deep fades and strong peaks
0226 UTC UNID Doo Wop tune...sounds familiar ??? Signal has leveled off a bit...mostly above the noise floor here in Western MA
0235 UTC Band noise picked up a lot....signal buried in the noise

EDIT: Signal picked up nicely at 0338 UTC! Electronica/Techno thump thump tune
0344 UTC Very clear ID and frequency by man announcer! Back into techno tune

Tuned in to a killer signal on 15700 KHZ at 1541 UTC with Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Great audio and signal peaking as high as S9 here in Western MA. Testing is working out really well and this should be heard well into the US! It's now 1620 UTC and signal is excellent...program of European R & B and techno dance tunes mostly. :)
1702 UTC Jingle..."Take another long hit on the bong at Laser Hot Hits" :o

Very weak here, but able to ID "Just Another Brick In the Wall"-Pink Floyd at 1407 UTC tune in. Was able to hear bits and pieces of man announcer and music popping up over the noise floor, but otherwise poor copy. Thanks for the test though Trans Europe!

Despite the high band noise and loud static bursts from an approaching storm, I'm getting fair to good audio from Magic at 2357 UTC with "Just The Two Of Us"-Grover Washington Jr & Bill Withers, into U2 at 0000 UTC Oct 23 :)
0011 UTC "The Heat Is On"-Glen Frey

2207 UTC "Laser Hot Hits" jingle (signal picking up nicely now...S5 as sunset arrives here in Western MA)
2218 UTC "Send In The Clowns"-Judy Collins (We're up to S7! :))
2222 UTC "Rhinestone Cowboy"-Glen Campbell
2257 UTC "Just My Imagination"-Temptations (Signal has settled at about an S9 here...very listenable :))
2309 UTC "Karma Chameleon"-Culture Club

Black Arrow here with sharp peaks and long deep fades at 1744 UTC. Angie by the Rolling Stones, 60's tunes that someone in Ianns chat says was the Small Faces, long electronica dance tune. All this with Mr BA talking between and during songs. Mentioned something about Cupid and Benway, then all 3 QSO'd ;D
Never heard a 3 way QSO like that before ;D

BBR here with alter ego Abu Dhabi and S5 signal playing easy listening ballads amid some band noise and fading at 2137 UTC tune in. Played some music for Skipmuck and another shoutout later on! My favorite Euro personality! You the man Abu Dhabi ;D

FM Free Radio / UNID 92.5 FM Pompano Beach pirate busted
« on: October 17, 2014, 2136 UTC »
If you are into pirate radio, you are doing the FM ops a great disservice by reporting your loggings. The FCC does not take kindly to AM or FM "Free" operations in the US. They warn you, then they slam you with a large fine if you are stupid enough to ignore the warning! It is just too easy to track down an FM pirate...you can pretty much do it with a boom box with a whip antenna. FM Free Radio just ain't free >:(

MARC-NUS CHARLES. Issued a monetary forfeiture in the amount of $20,000 to Marc-Nus Charles for operating a pirate radio station in Pompano Beach, Florida. Action by: Regional Director, South Central Region, Enforcement Bureau. Adopted: 10/16/2014 by Forfeiture Order. (DA No. 14-1486). EB   DA-14-1486A1.docx  DA-14-1486A1.pdf
