Yet another 10 MHz logging out of Latin America...seems to be suffering from minor QRM form QSOs on nearby frequencies

One station was SIO 444 nice audio, heard mention of Curacao (island in the Caribbean)

10.200 MHz 10200 kHz USB. 

There are now several on-going QSOs in the lower portion of the 10 MHz band coming out of Latin America.  Spanish and Portuguese have been heard:

10195 kHz 10.195 MHz USB mode.  Voice communications heard out of Latin America - going by band conditions probably South America.  Use of the radio procedure pro-word "cambio" (sounds like gambio) which means "over" or "back to you".  Compared to the activity on 10222 kHz USB and 10252.2 kHz USB these guys seem a lot more professional.

10252.2 kHz USB, I think its Portuguese or maybe Spanish with a weird accent.  Two or three stations talking with good signals.  Lots of laughing and general banter, so my guess would be fishing boats, fishery radio or free banders or outbanders.  Yet another 10 MHz logging these guys are all over the bands.

6900 kHz 6.900 MHz 6900 LSB active with Spanish speaking freebanders - chances are these guys actually are radio operators - I've listened to them extensively.  They refer to 6900 LSB as the "home channel" or the "home frequency".

6985 kHz 6.985 MHz USB mode - more out of band Spanish speaking traffic just below the bottom edge of the 40 meter ham band.  The entire 6-7 MHz region is alive with signals from Latin America this evening...these also sound like amateur radio operators just using out of band frequencies - making them freebanders.

6860 kHz 6.860 MHz USB mode (LSB also has some traffic too but its much weaker)

Spanish language traffic, likely outbanders/freebanders or fishing fleets using the 43 meter band to communicate outside of the marine bands.  Chances are these guys are land-based radio hobbyists operating outside of the amateur bands for whatever reason. 

That, or they're drug runners :D

6760 kHz very busy, both LSB and USB active at once.  6760 LSB has the stronger signals - noted use of "cambio" ("over") proword on 6760 kHz LSB.  One of the stations has clipped audio or is slightly off-frequency...heard mention of Venezuela at 2137 UTC on 6760 LSB.  Seems to be 2-3 operators having a ham radio like ragchew QSO.

6695.5 USB and 6703 USB both active with Spanish language operators chatting away...I do not believe these are telephone links I think they're just freebanders or people operating radios without licenses (maybe they are licensed) in a remote village somewhere.  Who knows.  I have heard 6695 and nearby frequencies several times in the past.  Signals are too weak to really make anything useful out...

I have logged activity on this frequency several times before.  Hearing one side of a conversation, a YL speaking to another [unheard] station.  There is a very strong data ute signal a few kHz up and its making listening difficult.  Sounds like an informal telephone-like conversation...characteristic of the radiotelephone systems that are often heard coming out of Latin America and are found all over the 6765-7000 kHz fixed/mobile 43 meter band, but usually stay below 6900 kHz.

Listening via the ΣSDR located on the CT/MA border.  6893 kHz 6.893 MHz 6893 USB mode.  Spanish language.

Lots of Portuguese speaking pescadores chatting away this afternoon...including the following frequencies:

6919 kHz LSB
6925 kHz LSB - the usual "watering hole"
6926 kHz USB - unusual frequency and mode for Portuguese speaking stations, usually they stick to LSB mode...

Noble Skywave or Mobile Skywave communications exercise or training net?  6811.5 kHz USB 6.811.5 MHz USB 6.8115 MHz USB October 30th, 2018

Listening via Chris' KiwiSDR, tuning around the 43 meter band...came across a military or military-sounding net

station Charlie Alpha One Niner CA19 calling any station, asking for radio check...CA59 responds...CA19 then replies that CA59 is unreadable.  CA19 then calls US19 for a radio check [1615 UTC].  Then another NO11 this is US47, over.  Two stations talking over each other for a moment....CA19 is still calling US19 for a radio check.  NO11 coming in much stronger.  US30 being called by CA25.  Lots of AANN callsign formats.

"To any stations, this is CA39, radio check over" [1616 UTC]
"Charlie Alpha 39, this Uniform Sierra 14, over" [1616-1617 UTC], several other callsigns [all using phonetic alphabet callsigns]  CA23, CA39, and others...

"any station that can copy, this is US30, over" at one point at 1618 UTC there were three stations transmitting at once. 

Possibly a MARS net or military training net?

"Any station Noble Skywave (or Mobile Skywave?) this is xxxx, over"

More stations giving reports, calling for radio checks, etc.  still going at 1622 (this time it was Charlie Alpha Three Niner / CA39 doing the radio check)

"Any station, any station, NOBLE SKYWAVE, this is US31 Uniform Sierra Three One, over" [US31 has the best signal by far]...then CA39 walked all over US31 with another radio check...ALE data bursts also heard on frequency

Some Googling shows that 6811.5 USB has been used in the past for NOBLE SKYWAVE exercises/training nets.  Other frequencies include 5205 kHz USB, 9900 kHz USB, 11103.5 kHz USB, 11539.5 kHz USB, 13584 kHz USB and 14461.5 kHz USB.  ALE is apparently also used.

Possible fishing fleets fishery radios South American fishermen on the HF radio - 12018 kHz 12.018 MHz USB mode. 

Hearing weak Spanish language two-way chatter inside the 25 meter shortwave broadcast band - in between a powerful FSK signal on 12014 kHz, a powerful SWBC carrier on 12025 kHz and a powerhouse broadcast station on 12030 kHz. 

QSO still on-going at 1606 UTC, informal chatter, heard one of the ops yawn over the air at 1607 UTC, followed by some more remarks in Spanish and some hysterical laughter...

5510 kHz 5.510 MHz USB (previously logged on 12 April 2017) same mode, frequency and language...also sounded like fishing fleet communications outside the HF marine bands. 

Similar to the traffic heard on 5540 kHz LSB, lots of salty sailor language, informal chatter, likely South American fishing trawlers.

SIO 333 to 444 great signal this evening on 5450 kHz USB 5.450 MHz USB mode, synth computer YL voice reading aeronautical weather information - VOLMET - St. Eval (Military One).  Shannon Radio is also coming in nicely with lots of activity on the 3-5 MHz region.
