Huh? / Dogs to be used in this years Earhart Expedition.
« on: July 01, 2017, 0211 UTC »
Specially bred water dogs would be my guess, even though they are freshwater species. I hope the Howland Island penguins don't devour them before they can sniff out the old battle-axe resting on the bottom. Al needs to know the truth.

YOU logged a pirate?" via email. Well it's been a while, and it's going to be a damned sight longer if they don't quit playing a Mungo Jerry song that was Gawd-awful when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth and Archie's tunes! Jesus Palamino!

Some fellas should stick to croquet and keep their opinions to themselves.

Steven Furst probably depicted the young Al Fansome in that film better than anyone before or since. RIP Steven.

The theme song was originally "Fleming House" but they changed it for the movie, some sort of copyright issue. It originally went "Fleming House, bah, bah, bah, bah, Fleming House, bah, bah, bah, bah..." The "bahs" are from the ewes kept at Fleming for the residents pleasure. You see one fleeing Delta House when Flounder and Larry first walk up to the place. That's called "cinema verite" by the French, or Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys, whichever you prefer.

Huh? / Al, about this "sashimi grade" stuff.

Is that kindergarten tuna or the 12th grade tuna? Thanks in advance!

General Radio Discussion / Penguins win.....
« on: June 12, 2017, 1021 UTC »
the Stanley Cup! Is there anything those wonder birds can't do?

One sounds like a TIS station, a man and woman reading what sound like traffic/weather reports. As for the other two, I'm hearing late 20's jazz with one and bits of old radio shows with the other. The last is so faint it may be the same station. Heard OM with some announcements but couldn't make it out. Moderate fades but all were just barley audible.

Check 'em out. For all I know it could be my fatigued ears and mixing products?

Huh? / People have been dying the past few days....
« on: May 15, 2017, 2236 UTC »
that have never died before. Where's Al?

Huh? / Hey Al, I got a new shirt!
« on: April 09, 2017, 0520 UTC »
A Penguin polo with blue and white plaid overlaid by burgundy and teal stripes. I wore it to the comic book store with my largest pager on my belt. The girl geeks went wild! Wait until I get my Naugahyde pocket protector back from the cleaners and show off my vintage slide rule to the ladies.

"I'm the Sheik of Silicone Valley, in front of your doorstep I'll sleep..."

At least that's what their latest commercial claims. I hope this doesn't get Al and the fellas on the Shady Acres Shuffleboard Team banned from the all Sunbelt Retirement Home Championships due to start in mid-April.

Huh? / About this "Round Earth" hypothesis......
« on: March 22, 2017, 2340 UTC »
If a man with a globe shaped head says it's not true, what do these egg-head scientists know? There goes the Hollow Earth Expedition. Who wants to end up on the blank flipside?

I wish we had someone on this board with a knowledge of geography and geology to explain this millennia old blunder? Never trust a Greek geek with a penchant for sitting in holes to observe the sun.

you moved out of Pennsylvania?

Huh? / Happy Pi Day!
« on: March 14, 2017, 1629 UTC »
From the FANCO family to you and yours.

Al is out on a power waddle, but when he returns there will be salutations and gifts for all!

Huh? / Updates from HAARP on Iditarod.
« on: March 13, 2017, 2206 UTC »
Via Radio Bob:

Wolves 3
Mad Trappers & Prospectors 1
Bears 0

Expect Trapper and Prospector musher kills to go up as main race moves into more populated regions. Late hibernation has free ranging bear numbers down, leading to low bag numbers for the Ursine side, but it's a long race.

Huh? / Al, do you remember our old pal, Radio Bob?
« on: March 10, 2017, 1134 UTC »
He called from HAARP the other day keeping me up on the Iditarod. We were talking about the Wikileaks thing when he mentioned his great-Grandma on his mother's side was an Assange. You could have knocked me over with a punch card when he told me that! Now guess what? Pat Murphy has been right all along, his TV is watching him! Yep, when Julie was still tight with certain states and agencies he had 'em hack Pat's devices to avenge Cousin Bob. Even his Lady Speed Stick reports in regularly to the Ecuadorian Embassy who sends the info straight to Bob. Pat farts, Bob knows it. Pat loses his dentures, Assange's crew's mini-drones are altering them to let seeds work their way under them. It was diabolical in scope, and I'm not talking about that mouthwash that Kracker swills before he goes on the air.

Speaking of the latter, Bob has the natives in Alaska convinced that he's Buffalo Bob Smith. How does he convince them? He simply shows them a pic of Kracker sitting on his knee the boys in Moscow provided. As you know Kracker is the spitting image Howdy Doody and nearly as tall.

That Bob. You've got to stay on your toes when he's around. We made a fine hire when we brought him into the fold.

Huh? / I think Trump is on to us, Al.
« on: March 07, 2017, 1026 UTC »
They know about that bug we planted in Kracker's robes at that Klan mixer Bannon held at Trump Tower in October.

I didn't think they checked out guys who ranked as Kleagles and above at their soiree's? Never send a midget to do a man's job.
